Accessibility.
This site is built to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. Here is what we do and how to tell us when something is off.
Conformance
This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Specifically:
- Body text and surface pairs meet a 4.5:1 contrast ratio minimum
- All interactive elements show a visible focus ring on keyboard navigation
- Tap targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels on touch devices
- Every page includes a skip link, semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer), and a logical heading structure
- All images have alternative text describing what they show
- Animation respects the
prefers-reduced-motionsystem setting and collapses to static when reduced motion is requested - The site is fully usable with the keyboard alone
Accessibility tools on this site
Every page has an accessibility button in the bottom-left corner. Open it to adjust how the site looks and behaves; your choices are saved on your device and stay applied as you move between pages. The panel includes:
- Larger text, in steps up to 150 percent
- A high-contrast color mode
- A more readable, dyslexia-friendly font
- Highlighting that underlines and outlines every link
- An option to pause animations and video
- A larger cursor and a reading guide that follows your pointer
Use Reset all in the panel to return to the default view at any time.
Known limitations
- The Google Maps embed on the contact page is a third-party component. Its keyboard accessibility may differ from the rest of the site.
- The clinic logo is currently a low-resolution raster image. A vector version is on order so it stays sharp on high-DPI displays.
